On Thursday, April 24th, during the 2nd International Festival of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, the first International CLIL- Robotics Championship will take place at Tehnopark Celje. The event is held under the patronage of the German Embassies in Slovenia and Croatia. It is organized by the Discimus Lab Institute Tržec/Videm near Ptuj in cooperation with the Municipality of Celje and numerous partners.

Six teams composed of primary and secondary school students from Slovenia and Croatia will participate in the competition, promoting intercultural collaboration and teamwork.

CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) refers to learning through the integration of subject content and a foreign language – in this case, robotics is the content, and German is the language of communication. The project aims to promote 21st-century skills: the use of robotics and artificial intelligence in everyday life, along with multilingual communication.
