Participants will develop competencies for learning, teaching and assuming self-responsibility in dealing with animals, which is key for sustainable personal growth. The knowledge gained will be directly transferable to educational work.
Animals are an integral part of the modern life of children, adolescents and adults. From being our food to being our best friends. Unfortunately, we do not have everyone in the home environment a good example of the attitude towards animals. Therefore, this kind of awareness is necessary to create a better, more empathetic community today and in the future. A society that will also be good for animals and will not knowingly or unknowingly cause animals unnecessary stress or suffering.
The program will be carried out by approved professionals from Tehnopark Celje. The ANIMAL ANGELS association - the association for the protection and assistance of animals of the world and their guardians - also participates in the program.

In addition to a certificate with points for promotion in titles, participants will also receive an explanation that we held a meeting as part of the program, where participants presented the use of acquired knowledge in educational work through the final product. We will add feedback to the presentations in the form of reflection and evaluation in the communication of participants with the program provider.
The target groups of the program are: educators and other professionals in kindergartens and teachers and other professionals in primary and secondary schools.
The training will be carried out in the form of:
- lectures,
- interactive workshops in a fun STEAM learning environment, which includes more than 57 STEAM interactive exhibits such as: the Birdly simulator, which allows visitors to fly like a bird and discover fantastic perspectives in a realistic experience, virtual reality, humanoid robots (Pepper Nao Alpha Photon), optical illusions, professional kitchen digital exhibits VR glasses planetarium. The motto of the exhibits is: With play to the stars. The thematic areas of the exhibits are: The
human body; Physical, mathematical and astronomical phenomena; Natural science; Ecology, energy and renewable energy sources; The future - technologies and jobs in the future; Physics, mathematics and astronomy; Illusions,
- exchange of ideas and experiences, brainstorming,
- fun, innovative ICT methodologies,
- reflections and evaluations, including evaluation in the Katis application.
The program is designed to enable individuals to upgrade their existing knowledge in the natural sciences (chemistry, mathematics, gastronomy, artificial intelligence), in the social sciences (teamwork, cooperation, creativity) and in personal and career growth.
The modules that make up the program are:
Module 1: Mathematics in the Kitchen
In this module, participants will gain an interactive didactic interdisciplinary experience based on culinary creativity. When preparing quick and healthy meals, they will develop communication skills, mathematical competencies, analytical and resourceful skills, and competencies for a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. They will learn about the didactic usefulness of household utensils and a set of sustainable ingredients for healthy meals. The module will be carried out in a
professional didactic kitchen.
Module 2: Molecular Cuisine, Where Nutrition and Science Meet
In the innovative environment of the professional kitchen of Tehno Park Celje, participants will learn about chemistry in the world of cuisine, or rather, cuisine in the world of chemistry, in an interactive and useful way. ''Food is chemistry'', many seemingly simple processes in the kitchen are actually quite demanding physical and chemical processes. They will learn about the world of molecular gastronomy using sous-vide, cooking techniques, making fruit bubbles using membrane ion
exchange, gelification using agar-agar vegetable gelatin, preparing air bubbles using soy lecithin, fat powdering, preparing espum and many other techniques. They will be able to directly transfer the acquired knowledge and experience into the educational process of kindergartens/schools, strengthening the motivation of children/students/pupils in the field of chemistry, which is key for the further development of their natural science knowledge.
Module 3: S.O.S SCHOOL - didactic methods and concrete aids for understanding the foundations of mathematics for schoolchildren
In this module, participants will acquire competencies for consolidating knowledge of mathematics by supporting schoolchildren and parents. With didactic approaches based on a completely concrete level, we want to achieve an understanding of the foundations of mathematics in primary school and thus encourage children's joy in this indispensable life skill and prevent complications and dissatisfaction with mathematics in further education. Participants will design and use innovative
mathematical teaching aids from reusable materials. Didactic aids will be intended for demonstration and active learning. Participants will learn more about innovative didactic aids: a number line with foam rings, a hundred-square with tokens, a sound-position calculator.
Module 4: Chemistry in the Kitchen
In this module, participants will strengthen their competencies in the field of applied chemistry: they will learn about didactics for motivating children/students for chemistry, they will successfully reduce the assumptions that chemistry is difficult,

The target groups of the program are:
assistant preschool teachers, preschool teachers, teachers in the first period of primary school, other teachers in the first grade of primary school, teachers in morning care/after-school classes, teachers of individual and group support in primary school, teachers of additional professional support in primary school, teachers of elective subjects in primary school, organizers in primary school, teachers for children and adolescents with special needs, educators for children and adolescents with special needs.
The program is designed to be practical from the first minute, with the active participation of the seminar participants. It will be implemented at selected exhibits in the first and second platforms of Tehnopark Celje, where we will discuss the difficulties, problems and challenges that educators, teachers and professional workers have in their work in regular kindergartens and schools and in institutions with children and adolescents with special needs. Participants will learn about selected exhibits, their operation, we will relate problems to them and look for their solutions. Since the exhibits are such that they will not usually be able to use them in their work in kindergartens and schools, we will find substitutes together - learning tools that will serve as a foundation for successful learning and teaching. During the seminar, participants will also receive tasks and examples that they will solve at home, and after the seminar, lecturers will also be available for consultations for a certain time.
The program is designed to include:
- presentation of selected exhibits in Tehnopark Celje and demonstration of their operation,
- discussion of specific problems of the participants in their work,
- search for solutions and determining how we can develop learning tools that will be the foundation for successful learning with the help of the selected exhibit,
- presentation of solutions,
- support for participants for some time after the seminar.
The content of the program is prepared according to the needs of the participants and the real problems they encounter when working with children in regular kindergartens and schools and when working with children with special needs. The seminar is of a practical nature and from the first minute includes the active participation of the participants, who learn how various learning tools can help them in illustrating and solving the problems that we will develop together. An important part of the seminar will also be experiential pedagogy, experiential learning, which is essential in educational work. The seminar will also discuss the development of attention in children in regular schools and in children with special needs, the development of social skills in both the participants and the children they work with, and part of the seminar will be dedicated to the growing problem of behavioral disorders.
The modules that make up the program are:
Module 1: Introductory meeting with a discussion of the problems that participants encounter in their work
Module 2: Developing attention in children and adolescents with special needs
Module 3: Preparing learning tools as a foundation for successful work with children and adolescents with special needs
Module 4: Developing social skills as a foundation for successful functioning
Module 5: STEAM interactive exhibits for solving the challenges of behavioral disorders
Module 6: Closing meeting, presentation of final assignments and evaluation of the seminar
